Stud: CB Quinton Dunbar

For most of the season, Quinton Dunbar has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. And that continued on Sunday afternoon.

During the game, Dunbar was arguably the best player on the field for either team. He was certainly the best player for the Redskins and particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

Dunbar’s top-tier performance was one of my biggest takeaways from the game, and here’s what I said about his efforts in that piece.

More from Commanders News

"Dunbar was able to help the Redskins limit Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones to a combined 105 yards on 10 catches during the game. Considering that they are one of the best receiver duos in the NFL, that’s pretty impressive. Dunbar just has excellent instincts and playmaking ability. The Redskins are lucky to have him on their team and without him, who knows whether or not they would have won the game? He’s certainly proven himself this season and is beyond the point of being a rising star at cornerback.
