Redskins: Studs and duds from the team’s Week 12 win over Lions
The Washington Redskins were able to win against the Detroit Lions in Week 12. These studs helped them win it while these duds need some improvement.
The Redskins were able to emerge victoriously for the second time this season against the Detroit Lions in Week 12. Playing at home, the team won for the first time in the confines of FedEx Field since Week 7 of the 2018 season against the Dallas Cowboys.
The game wasn’t exactly a resounding win for the ‘Skins. They still didn’t play a complete 60-minute contest and let the Lions get back in despite holding a 10-point halftime lead. But for the first time this season, the team played well in crunch time. They put together a game-winning drive and saw some nice late-game play from their stars and young talent.
There was plenty to like about Sunday’s game, and Redskins fans deserve a chance to celebrate a rare win in this difficult season.
There’s also plenty to improve upon, as the ‘Skins still need to clean up some of the issues that have been plaguing them this season and for the better part of the past few years.
With that said, here’s a look at the studs and duds for this week’s win over the Detroit Lions.
