No. 1 – Dwayne Haskins eclipses 250 yards, doubles touchdown total

You may have used deductive reasoning to figure this one out. The offensive line has a good game. Terry McLaurin breaks the 100-yard mark. Naturally, it can be assumed that Dwayne Haskins will have a good game as well.

That said, I don’t think Haskins will be close to perfect. There are things he needs to continue to work on, and lingering pitfalls to his game that will have to be corrected with time. But Haskins is now entering the same phase other rookie passers like Kyler Murray and Daniel Jones have been in. The starting job has been his for a few weeks, and now, as he gets more and more comfortable, he’ll continue to open up his game.

We won’t necessarily see monumental progress from Haskins in Detroit, but we should see steady growth, as we saw against the New York Jets. Exploiting the Lions’ No. 30-ranked passing defense, Haskins will eclipse the 250-yard mark, and he’ll double his season touchdown total with two more in this game.
