The Washington Redskins are taking on the Detroit Lions in Week 12. Here’s a look at what their goals for the game should be.

Coming out of the bye week, many pointed to two games that the Redskins would have a chance at winning down the stretch. They came against the Jets and the Giants.

However, Detroit being a beatable opponent has been overlooked a bit. With Matthew Stafford out, the Redskins could have a chance to defeat the Jeff Driskel-led Lions as they look to bounce back from a horrific outing against the Jets.

For the rest of the season, the wins and losses don’t matter for the ‘Skins. They’re competing for the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft so if anything, winning could hurt them a bit. That said, they still have goals week in and week out, especially as they are looking for their young talent to step up and grow into bigger roles.

The game against the Lions should be a good test for them and it should provide fans and analysts with more intel on how the Redskins will look moving forward. But heading into Week 12, here’s a look at what the ‘Skins goals should be against the Lions.
