The Redskins lost by another double-digit deficit to the lowly New York Jets. On the surface, the game offers no redeeming qualities. But a few young players showed growth.

Right now, the Washington Redskins priority should be long-term growth, and while it would be nice to notch wins against relatively similar teams like the Jets, one can only ask so much of a team coached by Bill Callahan, with a rookie quarterback and a poorly-coached defense.

The Redskins looked like exactly that in their 34-17 loss to the Jets: Young, and poorly coached. But while the ugly moments outweighed the awe-inspiring ones, there were still players who progressed over the course of the game, and there were silver linings to carry into next week.

Overall, the Redskins loss against the Jets offered a vast array of studs and duds to choose from, as polarizing as they were prevalent. Who are the studs and duds from Washington’s latest loss? Take a look!
