Three takeaways from the Redskins loss to the Jets
The Washington Redskins lost to the New York Jets in a 34-17 blowout. Here are our takeaways from the Week 11 game.
The Redskins were favored to beat the Jets in NFL Week 11. They were coming off a bye week, getting back a key weapon in Derrius Guice, and they were playing at home. So, what wasn’t to like about the game?
Well, apparently the answer to that was the team in general. The Redskins were crushed by the Jets and ended up losing by a score of 34-17. But they trailed by as many as 31 and struggled to move the ball on offense until garbage time. So, the result was much worse than it looked.
There were some minor positives in this game for the Redskins. But seemingly, everything else was mostly negative. And notably, the coaching staff performed poorly and weren’t able to get the team ready for what should’ve been a key game for this squad.
Here are three takeaways from this loss in which the Redskins demonstrated poor effort and fundamentals for most of the evening.
