1. Terry McLaurin catches 10 passes for 100-plus yards and a score

Terry McLaurin has been the most impressive rookie on the Redskins. And he’s been one of the best rookie receivers in the NFL as well. But this week, he could be in store for a massive game.

The Jets secondary isn’t very good at all. They have struggled immensely against the pass and just allowed Daniel Jones to throw four touchdowns against them. So, that’s already one positive for McLaurin.

In addition to his solid matchup, Haskins is entering the lineup for the second time. And Haskins has chemistry with McLaurin from their time together at Ohio State. If McLaurin can exploit his matchup and get open often, it stands to reason that Haskins will look his way early and often.

Also, it’s worth noting that the Jets have one of the best run defenses in the league. So Bill Callahan’s run-heavy offense may not be able to work as well as he’s hoping. And if that happens, the Redskins will be forced to go to the air a lot.

Those factors, plus the absence of Paul Richardson, makes it likely that McLaurin will have a big game. We’ll project him to get double-digit receptions, triple-digit receiving yards, and another touchdown as he continues to build on a strong rookie campaign.
