The Washington Redskins are taking on the New York Jets in Week 11 of the 2019 NFL season. Here are some bold predictions for the game.

The Washington Redskins are just 1-8 coming out of the bye week. But ahead of their Week 11 matchup with the New York Jets, there seems to be hope that the team can emerge victoriously.

Dwayne Haskins is starting at quarterback. The team is getting Derrius Guice back from injury. And they’ve had two weeks to prepare for the Jets, who are coming off a big home win over their cross-town rival, the Giants. They should be motivated for this home game as it’s one of the few truly winnable games left on their schedule.

That said, Redskins fans know not to take winnable games for granted, as the team has had a habit of letting the fans down in key spots over the course of the past decade. And some will point to the fact that a loss could improve their draft pick, so it may ultimately be better for them long-term to lose.

But the Redskins are still going to try to win. And this game against the Jets should be an entertaining one. With that in mind, here’s a look at five bold predictions for what could happen during the contest.
