Three takeaways from Redskins Week 9 loss to Buffalo Bills
The Washington Redskins were unable to beat the Buffalo Bills ahead of their bye week. Here are the takeaways from the game.
This game was closer than the scoreline indicates. The Redskins were down by just one possession in the second half before the Bills went on a game-clinching drive late in the fourth quarter. The Redskins lost 24-9, but there were some bright spots for the squad.
First and foremost, the Redskins were able to move the ball for the most part on offense. Dwayne Haskins looked solid in his first start and most importantly, he avoided mistakes and turnovers.
On defense, the Redskins got some strong efforts out of their best players. They played well, limited Josh Allen, and though they had issues against the run, they were able to contain the Bills enough to keep this competitive.
Here are the primary takeaways from this decent showing from the Redskins in Week 9.
