No. 4 – CB Quinton Dunbar

The Buffalo Bills have had a solid 2019 campaign, due in part to their multi-faceted offense that produces enough to win, in spite of some minor inconsistencies. One player who’s emerged and added to his game is wide receiver John Brown, who will be covered by Quinton Dunbar on Sunday.

Brown broke the 1,000-yard mark in his second season with the Arizona Cardinals, but since then, health issues and a lack of stability have rendered him a mere complimentary deep threat in most offenses.

That is, until now.

With the Bills, Brown has naturally risen into a No. 1 receiver role. In seven games, Brown has 38 receptions for 527 yards and two scores, on pace for around 83 catches and approximately 1,100 yards. He’s logged at least four catches in every game thus far, and while he hasn’t been the explosive deep receiver many expected, with Josh Allen’s big arm, he’s getting open consistently, and he poses a challenge to Dunbar on Sunday.

This matchup will be one of the key contests of the day. If Brown can win against Dunbar and find space, the Bills offense might get enough momentum to shake its inconsistencies and fend off a Redskins squad that has a bit more talent than its 1-7 record advertises.
