Trent Williams opened up about his holdout, his thoughts on the Redskins, and the medical issue the popped up this offseason in an interview on Thursday afternoon.

The Washington Redskins didn’t part ways with Trent Williams before the 2019 NFL trade deadline. So, he had no choice but to report to the team in order to get credit for the season.

The Redskins were hoping that Williams would play when he returned. Instead, he told reporters everything about what was happening with him and exactly how he felt about the Redskins organization.

ESPN’s John Keim summed up the Williams presser the best on Twitter.

Needless to say, this is a lot to throw out there. But clearly, Williams is fed up with how he’s been treated by the Washington Redskins. He wanted to get the truth out in the open, and that’s exactly what he did.

And Williams can afford to do that because he isn’t worried about the consequences. What’s the worst that can happen? He doesn’t want to play for the team, so cutting him isn’t much of a threat.

With that said, here’s a look at some of the specific comments that Williams made. And they certainly don’t reflect well on the team.
