In Week 9, the Redskins take their 1-7 record to the frozen tundra of Buffalo, where they’ll face off against the 5-2 Buffalo Bills.

There won’t be any miraculous playoff run for the Washington Redskins in the second half of their 2019 season. At 1-7, with an interim head coach now leading them from game to game, the Redskins might as well be mathematically eliminated.

That said, while the competing is over, the action is not. Washington still has eight games to play, and despite nothing being at stake in the short-term those games still serve a purpose, for both developing young talent and players looking to refine their craft.

With all that in mind, let’s take a look at how the Redskins match up against their Week 9 opponent, the Buffalo Bills. This game may be closer than expected, but there are some reservations surrounding the Redskins squad. Take a look!
