2. Redskins must limit Kirk Cousins

After Kyle Shanahan’s revenge game last week, the game this week is all about Kirk Cousins and his revenge game. After leaving in free agency and signing in Minnesota, Cousins had a rough first year. After getting off to a sluggish start this year, he has been on an absolute tear the last three weeks. With three consecutive games with a rating over 138, Cousins has 10 touchdowns and just one interception while the Vikings have won three straight games.

The Redskins must be ready to face their former signal-caller, and Greg Manusky must come in with a great game plan to limit Cousins. The Packers beat Cousins by constantly blitzing from different areas and confusing him at the line by routinely giving him different looks.

The Vikings’ offense has been scoring in bunches lately because of Cousins’ excellent play. But, if the Redskins can find a way to limit him and slow an underrated Vikings’ offense, they stand a decent chance at an upset. If Cousins puts up another 300-yard, four-touchdown game, Washington will drop to 1-7.
