As per usual, it wasn’t easy to find studs from the Redskins latest uninspiring loss. But we’re used to the routine at this point. There are always bright spots in the darkness.

If nothing else, the Washington Redskins Week 7 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers was unique. Had the weather been sunny and 64 degrees, the 49ers might’ve ran away with the game. But the conditions allowed the Redskins to play their way, and with the 49ers out of their comfort zone, Washington hung around for a bit.

Consequently, however, the game became a war of attrition, and it came down to which offense would break the pattern of monotony first. San Francisco’s offense was the unit that succeeded; three field goals in the second half sealed their victory, while the Redskins struggled to move the football altogether.

The Redskins got in their own way a lot in Week 7, but because of the efforts of a few, they were able to at the very least put up a fight against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. Here are some of the few who helped, and the many who didn’t.
