The phrase “keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”, was made for football.

Football is where physicality and strategy coalesce at peak quantities. The most strategically complex team gives itself the best chance to win, and the most physical teams separate themselves even further. It only makes sense that, in such a complex sport, we emulate that strategy before the Washington Redskins Week 7 matchup with the 49ers.

This week, we’re keeping our enemies close; we spoke with the site expert of FanSided’s San Francisco 49ers site, Peter Panacy, and he answered some questions on his franchise, which is 5-0 through five games of football. Want to learn more about this week’s opponent? What way is better, than to learn from the opponent themselves?

The questions to Panacy and answers from Panacy are listed below. If you want to ask Panacy your own questions, feel free to comment on his pieces at Niner Noise, or hit him up on Twitter using the handle @PeterPanacy.
