Redskins Week 5 Reality Checks: The Patriots are coming

3. The Reality Is: Tress Way will continue to be the Redskins MVP.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the only thing you can count on as a fan, other than utter disappointment and despair, is that your punter will knock the cover off the ball about nine times per game. Tress Way is the best punter I have ever watched. His combination of left-footedness, precision, consistency, and power is unmatched in football in my memory. It’s a shame he’s punting for a lame duck coach on a ship-wrecked franchise. But every time he punts, I am genuinely intrigued to see how incredible it’s going to be. So that’s something.
