It’s time for what may be Jay Gruden‘s last stand. Here’s a preview for the Washington Redskins’ next game against the New York Giants in NFL Week 4.

The Washington Redskins are facing a turning point heading into NFL Week 4. They have an 0-3 record and after an embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, they are in desperation mode. Or at least Jay Gruden is.

Saying the Redskins aren’t likely to be playoff contenders is an understatement. It would take a miracle to get them to the postseason. A loss in Week 4 would drop them to 0-4 and it could be the final nail in the coffin for Gruden’s team.

So far, Gruden’s tenure has been average at its high points and dismal at its low points. If they lose to the Giants, the team could consider parting with Gruden or at the very least, moving on from defensive coordinator Greg Manusky. If they win, their jobs could be saved at least in the immediate future. Redskins fans may not like that much, but the team hasn’t moved on from a coach in-season since Norv Turner in 2000, so there is a path to (momentary) salvation for Gruden.

Still, all of that hinges on being able to beat the New York Giants. And they don’t look like a cupcake opponent like some thought they could be coming into the year. Without further ado, here’s an in-depth preview for the game including the matchups to watch, a score prediction, and more.
