The Washington Redskins lost to the Chicago Bears in Week 3 of the 2019 NFL season. Here are the studs and duds from the game.

The scoreboard at the end of the Redskins’ Monday night game against the Chicago Bears read 31-15. It was a 16-point loss, but even that scoreline doesn’t give justice to just how bad the game was for Washington.

In the first half against the Bears, the Redskins were helpless to stop Chicago. They allowed 28 points including three touchdowns to Taylor Gabriel. At the half, they trailed 28-3. Despite playing much better in the second half, it really never felt like they had a chance to win the game and throughout the coverage of the game, there were references to the fact that Jay Gruden is likely running out of time to turn things around.

The game was a major negative for the Redskins. So, there were a lot of duds. But we also looked for some positives in this contest, as there always are bright spots and silver linings. They won’t be nearly enough to outweigh the horrific effort the ‘Skins put forth on Monday night, but they still deserve recognition nonetheless.

Without further ado, here are the studs and duds from the Redskins vs. Bears Monday night tilt, starting with a player who has had frequent stops on this list through the first three weeks of the season.
