In Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season, one of the sports’ biggest rivalries resumes when the Washington Redskins welcome the Dallas Cowboys to FedExField.

Coming off a tough Week 1 loss to the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, the Washington Redskins welcome another division rival to FedExField for their 2019 home debut. Even though both franchises have fallen on some tough times since their Super Bowl-winning glory days of the 90s, this is still one of the marquee match-ups of the NFL and is one nearly every Redskins fan have marked on their calendars.

The Cowboys are coming off of a convincing opening weekend win over the New York Giants in which they dominated from start to finish. Dallas played a complete game as they looked good in all three phases.

Washington started strong against the Eagles, jumping out to an impressive 20-7 lead only to come out flat in the second half, and watch Carson Wentz lead the Eagles on four scoring drives. While division losses always hurt, there were a lot of positives for the Redskins to build on for their week 2 match-up. If Washington wants to get back to .500 on the season, here are five keys to victory against Dallas.
