Football is back. The Redskins suit up for regular season action in just a few days.
It all feels like a blur now. Free agency. Draft season. Organized team activities. Minicamp. Training camp. Preseason. Roster cuts. All of that is in the rear view mirror now, and on Sunday, the Washington Redskins go toe-to-toe with the Philadelphia Eagles, in an early regular season divisional clash.
With Jay Gruden coaching for his job, and with twenty years of mediocrity weighing on Washington, the burgundy and gold will be facing pressure to compete, and Gruden can’t afford to do anything else, other than hit the ground running.
