The Redskins have now officially trimmed their roster to 53 players. Now, it’s time to predict what their practice squad is going to look like.

One of the most interesting but difficult days of the NFL calendar has come and passed. NFL roster cuts are now over and every roster in the league is currently sitting at 53 players overall. And that includes the Redskins roster.

The Redskins didn’t do anything too shocking on cut day. Parting ways with Samaje Perine surprised some solely because it was uncertain if Jay Gruden would be willing to get rid of a player that he evidently liked. But, Perine was cut along with 36 other players to help shape the team.

Moving forward, the Redskins now have to establish their practice squad. They have 10 open spots and they will look to retain some of their recent cuts. While they may also try to land some cuts from other teams across the NFL, they will probably focus on retaining a good chunk of their own players first. So, we won’t project them to pick up players from other teams at the moment even though it’s certainly possible that could happen.

Here’s a look at our prediction for the 10 Redskins practice squad spots to open the 2019 season (listed in no particular order).
