Five bold predictions for the Redskins preseason finale vs. Baltimore

No. 5 – Dwayne Haskins doesn’t do anything flashy
Ha. You probably thought I was going to close this out with a massive prediction like “Dwayne Haskins gets five touchdowns” or “Dwayne Haskins plays so well in the preseason finale that the Redskins give him the starting job anyway“.
Nah. This is reverse gotcha journalism, and I’m not gonna gotch you gotching me (If you don’t watch The Office, you won’t get that reference, and I am sincerely sorry that you haven’t watched The Office).
Let it be known that in Week 4 of preseason, against primarily backups, and with a backup supporting cast, Dwayne Haskins will not do anything flashy. Keep in mind, this doesn’t mean he can’t play well. He could still show the subtle growth that he emanated each week early on. But he won’t tear apart the Ravens. He won’t have a breakout performance in a spiteful protest of the Redskins decision.
Haskins will just have a normal, rookie-like performance. Some good, some bad, some things to take into next week and learn from. And judging by the expectations that have mounted in some corners, that’s about as bold as one can be right now.
