The Washington Redskins are getting ready for another preseason matchup. Here’s a look at some bold predictions for their game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The initial wave of excitement about preseason football is over. The first week of the NFL preseason is in the books and now, many Redskins fans will be a bit bored of preseason action while they’re waiting for the regular season to start.

Of course, there is still a lot to decide in the final preseason games. The result of the important position battles, key roster battles, and the progression of young players will certainly take the spotlight. While the results of the contest won’t matter, it will give the team a chance to evaluate their players and continue to shape their 53-man rosters.

The Redskins next opponent will be the Cincinnati Bengals, and they should provide the ‘Skins with a good test. The Bengals are another team with a first-year head coach, Zac Taylor, so they’ll certainly look to get off on the right foot after suffering a preseason Week 1 loss. Additionally, the Bengals have some nice depth pieces that should challenge the Redskins throughout all four quarters of the game.

Still, it’s the preseason, and some crazy things can happen in all of the contests. We’re going out on a limb this week with some of our bold predictions, and here’s a look at five of them ahead of the Redskins vs. Bengals matchup in NFL preseason Week 2.
