Cincinnati Bengals

Just going off of first impressions, I like what Zac Taylor can bring to the Bengals franchise. He’s an eager, energetic offensive mind who should provide a nice contrast from Marvin Lewis’ monotony. The Bengals also have some intriguing talent in pockets.

That said, talent in pockets isn’t good enough in the NFL. Even with their team fully healthy, the Bengals were facing long odds to compete in 2019. Then first-round pick Jonah Williams went down, further clouding the team’s outlook.

This year isn’t meant to be a winning one for the Bengals. It’ll be tough to find tie-breaking victories against the Ravens, Steelers, and Browns. This year, Zac Taylor will work on laying the groundwork for his long-term vision. Maybe someday, the losses will be worth it.
