The Washington Redskins have cut Mason Foster and added Corey Robinson to their roster in recent days. Those changes have prompted a new 53-man roster projection.

The Washington Redskins sure did pick a weird time to cut Mason Foster. After holding onto the veteran for all of the 2019 offseason, the team elected to part with him on the eve of training camp. In fact, it was just the day before the Redskins players were scheduled to report.

Foster was an older linebacker who was a two-down player. And cutting him did save the team $4 million in cap space. It was just a question of why the team didn’t make the move sooner.

But now, Foster is gone. And the team has a new tackle on the roster in journeyman Corey Robinson as well. They are dealing with some depth issues at that position, and that is muddying the waters a bit specifically on the offensive line.

With the new developments, including the strong possibility that the ‘Skins keep only four inside linebacker, it’s high time for another roster projection. So, here’s a look at our latest 53-man roster projection accounting for the latest roster moves and training camp news.
