Troy Apke vs. JoJo McIntosh

Troy Apke impressed scouts at the 2018 NFL Combine with a mind boggling forty yard dash of 4.34 seconds.  While most recruiting services had him as a lower-round prospect, the Redskins selected the Penn State product in the fourth round.  JoJo McIntosh was signed as an undrafted free agent this spring.  It’s unlikely he will push Apke from a roster spot for now. If McIntosh can make it to the practice squad, this could be a future battle to watch.  At this juncture, Apke appears to have the inside track.
