Training camp has opened this week and the Washington Redskins have begun their preparations for the 2019 season.  Players will compete for roster spots and some of the battles will be intense.

It’s late July and that can mean only one thing in the football world – training camps are opening en masse.  The Washington Redskins are spending another portion of their summer in Richmond, VA, at the Bon Secours Training Center.  It will be hot.  It will be humid.  The thunderstorms will be strong.  The football practices will be challenging.

Even though the roster is pretty much set, there are some players who are on the bubble and the battles to make the team or be a starter will be fierce.  In the end, fifty-three football players will wear the burgundy and gold and an additional ten will be added to the practice squad.  We believe there will be nine key battles that you should focus on during training camp and the preseason.
