Christian’s 2019 outlook with the Redskins

For now, Geron Christian is an unknown commodity. He only saw the field for 43 total snaps in 2018, and recovering from an injury, it’s unclear how he’ll be affected. But Christian was drafted in the third round for a reason; the Redskins see upside there. Now it’s their job to glean that upside out of him.

Christian has a chance to earn the backup swing tackle job in Washington, with Ty Nsekhe now in Buffalo. He has the size to do it, and he played a variation of the role at Louisville. But the NFL is a completely different animal, and Christian will have to prove he can handle the speed.
