On Wednesday, the next step of the NFL offseason will take place. The 2019 NFL Supplemental Draft will occur. And for the second year in a row, there is some intriguing talent that could warrant a selection in this year’s draft.
In 2018, two players were selected in the supplemental draft. The New York Giants took cornerback Sam Beal in the third round while the Redskins selected Adonis Alexander in the sixth round. It marked the first time since 2010 that more than one player had been selected in the supplemental draft.
The 2019 draft could also see two players selected, but it seems that at least one player is a shoo-in to be selected. We’ll find out soon who ends up getting selected.
