Late-round options

5. Redskins Defense/Special Teams:  We know about the loss of Reuben Foster but this defense still has very good talent. The Redskins pass rush could very much so end up with five guys with over seven sacks on the season. With Landon Collins now at the safety spot and Josh Norman still at corner, the Redskins secondary should provide good coverage and turnovers. This is an improved unit that will give you good fantasy games.

6. WR Paul Richardson: Richardson was brought in the last offseason to be the Redskins No. 1 receiver but an injury-filled season halted that. Now healthy with a legitimate down the field thrower at QB, expect Richardson to be the main guy in this receiving corps.

Assuming he’s healthy, Richardson should be worth a late-round pick in deep leagues.

7. RB Adrian Peterson: Injuries occurred last season and the Redskins needed RB help, so they brought in the future Hall of Famer. All AP did is rush for over 1,000 yards last season and put up eight touchdowns when called upon. Not bad for a guy who people thought would never touch the field again.

AP is back in Washington and showed he can still provide quality RB services, but the Redskins have a running back of the future in Derrius Guice. Adrian Peterson is here in case of emergency, so only target him late as a potential handcuff.
