Upside-based picks

3. TE Jordan Reed: The talent and production have never been a problem for Jordan Reed as he is a mismatch nightmare. The concern is Reed’s health.

Entering his seventh season, Reed has yet to play all 16 games in a season. If healthy, you can expect an offensive weapon who is the quarterback’s best friend. Reed is too big for corners and too fast for linebackers but given his health concerns, I’d draft him as a TE2 until he can show otherwise.

4. QB Dwayne Haskins: Haskins has yet to play a down in the NFL but if you go off his college stats where he put up 54 touchdowns, he’d be a top fantasy quarterback pick.

Haskins has a big arm and is a smart pocket passer. He isn’t going to scare anyone running but he can when plays break down. There’s going to be a learning curve but if he is the day one starter, you can expect 20-plus touchdowns and 3,000-plus yards in his rookie year. That’s good enough to be a high upside backup quarterback in standard leagues.
