How does Redskins WR Kelvin Harmon become the steal of the draft?

First things first; the Redskins themselves have to find the right spot to use Harmon, and they need to oversee his development with care. But because Harmon is a prospect with a relatively high floor, he alleviates some of the developmental concerns alluded to with Doctson.

Harmon should be able to draw attention right away in one-on-ones, but as a sixth-round pick, the investment placed in him is inherently lower, so Harmon might not have as long a leash on the field as other players. He’ll need to make the most of every opportunity. Gaining chemistry with fellow rookie Dwayne Haskins can be a good start.

With so much left unsettled in the Redskins receiving core, Harmon has a golden opportunity to take hold of an increased role, and his very play style is opportunistic, so as long as he carries on by doing what works, he should be able to exceed his draft stock fairly early. Can Kelvin Harmon become the steal of the 2019 NFL Draft? The question might not be an ‘if’, but instead a ‘when’.
