The 2019 NFL Draft is cresting the horizon, and there’s rumors that Redskins owner Dan Snyder’s bold habits are breaking through once again. How can he turn the draft upside down? Let’s take a look.

1. Arizona Cardinals: QB Kyler Murray, Oklahoma. There’s just too much smoke here. The Cardinals hosted Murray and his agent. Kliff Kingsbury has a past with Murray, and he’s been non-committal with Josh Rosen. He wants his guy, and he’s going to get him.

2. San Francisco 49ers: DE Nick Bosa, Ohio State. The 49ers pull a “don’t mind if I do” here and get an elite talent on the edge. It could be Bosa or Williams, but with DeForest Buckner wrecking folks on the interior, San Francisco has flexibility here.

3. Washington Redskins (via NYJ): QB Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State. And impulse wins out. There’s talk that the Washington Redskins front office is in a struggle with Redskins coach Jay Gruden over a quarterback. At the end of the day, Dan Snyder makes the decision, and he’s apparently enamored with Dwayne Haskins. Time will tell if fortune favors the bold. It hasn’t yet for the Redskins.

4. Oakland Raiders: QB Drew Lock, Missouri. Jon Gruden loves his grinders. He was smitten with Lock at the Senior Bowl, and Derek Carr isn’t the most appealing franchise quarterback in the world. Gruden gets his guy for the ten-year rebuild right here. And lemme tell ya, he can throw the football, man.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: LB Devin White, LSU. Pretty easy pick here, although I may have just jinxed it.

6. New York Giants: QB Daniel Jones, Duke. With three quarterbacks already gone, the Giants can’t afford to risk looking bad by losing out on the first batch altogether, after passing on a historic quarterback class last year. So they impulsively make a bad decision and draft Daniel Jones at No. 6 overall. Dave Gettleman doesn’t have a good track record with common sense, folks. It is what it is.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars: DL Quinnen Williams. I know. The Jaguars need offense. But they love defense. And after losing Malik Jackson, they have a hole on the defensive line that can be filled, and then some, with the draft’s top player, Quinnen Williams. He shouldn’t fall, but with a quarterback run, he might.

8. Detroit Lions: EDGE Josh Allen, Kentucky. I’d prefer Brian Burns here. But I think the Lions would snatch up Josh Allen if he falls this far. They need an edge presence. Allen provides that.
