Picks 9-16

9. Buffalo Bills: DT Christian Wilkins, Clemson. Buffalo needs a replacement for Kyle Williams at tackle. Wilkins qualifies and has a great skill set for the NFL level. Montez Sweat could come off the board here if the team has medically cleared him.

10. Denver Broncos: LB Devin Bush, Michigan. Bush seems like a top-10 lock at this point, with multiple teams interested in moving up for him. The Broncos will take him at 10 if he’s available unless Hockenson is on the board.

11. Cincinnati Bengals: OT Andre Dillard, Washington State. I’ve had Drew Lock here for a while, but it seems that the Bengals are shifting their focus to other areas. Dillard would be a huge upgrade at right tackle over Bobby Hart, and he’s one of the best players on the board.

12. Green Bay Packers: OT Jawaan Taylor, Florida. The Packers need to find a successor for Brian Bulaga. Taylor could slip a bit due to concerns about his knee, but the Packers may scoop him up if they think he’s capable of taking over at right tackle in the near future.

13. Miami Dolphins: EDGE Montez Sweat, Mississippi State. Sweat falls a bit due to a medical condition related to his heart, but there are reports that he may have been misdiagnosed. Will teams be able to regroup in time? Or will a team land a steal in the latter half of the first round? With the Dolphins rebuilding, grabbing Sweat here makes a lot of sense.

14. Atlanta Falcons: OL Cody Ford, Oklahoma. Ty Sambrailo can get by at right tackle, but he’s better served as a swing. Ford is a versatile tackle/guard who will find a home on their offensive line and keep Matt Ryan upright.

15. Washington Redskins: QB Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State. The Redskins may have to trade up to get Haskins, but it appears that he is their top target at quarterback. If he’s on the board here, expect them to pounce.

16. Carolina Panthers: EDGE Clelin Ferrell, Clemson. The Panthers need an edge rusher in their 3-4 defense. Ferrell is a steady player with a good all-around skill set, and he represents the safest option on the edge.
