The Falcons are another team that may look to build in the trenches. Though they re-signed Ty Sambrailo to an extension, they could use a potential starter at right tackle or at the very least, depth at the position. Andre Dillard would be a great option here.

Dillard has excellent movement skills and was one of the best tackles at the combine. He’s smooth, fluid, and athletic and he could have a chance to play left tackle. The Falcons would be more likely to use him on the right side, but he would still help there.

Adding Dillard would allow the Falcons to kick Sambrailo inside or use him as one of the league’s best swing tackles. If the Falcons don’t see any defensive linemen worth taking here, Dillard well could be the pick.

Other Options

OT Cody Ford, Oklahoma. Ford is likely to be a guard or right tackle at the NFL level. If that’s what the Falcons are looking for, they could opt to take him here, though his ceiling is much lower than that of Dillard.

EDGE Montez Sweat, Mississippi State. Vic Beasley has been a disappointment so far. Sweat has all the upside in the world, so picking him here could make sense for the Falcons.
