Linebacker. Michigan. Devin Bush. 10. player. 45.

I’ve had Drew Lock mocked here for what seems like forever, but I’m finally changing this pick. The Broncos seem to have cooled off on the first-round quarterback options, so they may go in a different direction.

The Broncos are probably hoping that Devin White or Ed Oliver makes it to this pick, but both are off the board. They have options here, but Devin Bush would fill the most immediate need.

Bush was a sideline to sideline playmaker for Michigan and he tested well athletically at the combine. He’s a bit small for a linebacker (5-11) but that shouldn’t drop him too far. His floor is probably at 20 to the Steelers, but the Broncos could grab him here.

Bush would be an ideal replacement for the departed Brandon Marshall, and he could pair with Josey Jewell to make a solid, long-term starting duo. Bush is also a player that the Broncos could target via a trade down. Keep an eye on New York Giants as a team that could want to move up to this spot.

Other Broncos Draft Options

OL Jawaan Taylor, Florida. Adding quality blocking to help Joe Flacco could be smart, so Taylor will garner consideration here.

TE Noah Fant, Iowa. If the Broncos would consider T.J. Hockenson at 10, they’ll certainly give Fant some consideration if they’re able to trade down.

DL Rashan Gary, Michigan. The Broncos could opt for the best player available, and that may be Gary, who could play a role on their defensive front.
