Redskins Rumor Round-Up: Team tied to multiple QBs, trades before 2019 NFL Draft
Are the Redskins trading up in the 2019 NFL Draft?
This question will be impossible to answer until it happens. But, several people have reported that the Redskins are at least exploring the possibility. One of them is NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, who said they are considering it but that nothing was imminent.
This would seemingly match up with the recent reports that the Redskins had been talking to the Jets about the No. 3 pick. While that was originally thought to be an option if the Cardinals didn’t get Kyler Murray, things are now less clear, as the team has been increasingly tied to Dwayne Haskins in the past few days.
Of course, the is also a caveat with this trade talks, as NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay points out.
At this time of the year, it’s hard to know what “right now” means. Things could change depending on how the draft board shakes out, or it could change if the price of quarterbacks is driven up. Either way, the ‘Skins figure to be involved in trade rumors for the better part of the next 24 hours.
