Are the Redskins in on Josh Rosen?

As of right now, signs are point to “no” on a Rosen trade, as ESPN’s Dianna Russini indicated on Wednesday.

The Redskins seem to have shifted their attention to the rookie quarterbacks for the moment, but that isn’t going to entirely rule out a trade with the Cardinals.

If Rosen is moved after the draft, the Redskins could be the logical team to grab him if they don’t get one of their top options at quarterback. However, that seems unlikely at the moment, as they appear to be one of the more aggressive teams that are after a passer in the 2019 NFL Draft.

This also could be a smokescreen by the Redskins. They may not want to reveal their interest in Josh Rosen in fear of another team jumping in and driving up the price for the former UCLA quarterback. That seems less likely at the moment, but the Rosen situation should still be monitored going forward.
