It’s almost time for the 2019 NFL Draft, and the Redskins are in the final stages of deliberation.

This is where franchises are born, and this is where they crumble. The NFL Draft. Where the premier talent from the collegiate rank is pooled, and where prospects are sent to their new teams. Where their next chapters will begin.

The Washington Redskins, on the other hand, have a chapter yet to finish.

Jay Gruden and his staff need a solid draft to fend off the heat under their seats, and the Redskins, stuck in limbo, need to add top-end talent, in an effort to get over the petulant hump that ceases to move from their path.

In the process of acquiring new players via the NFL Draft, however, there are some current Redskins players who could have their roles put into question, or altered altogether. Here are five of those players.
