Round 6, Pick 33

Will Pick and Should Pick: WR Jakobi Meyers, NC State

Washington absolutely has to come out of this draft with at least two receivers and maybe even at tight end. They can afford to wait, given the depth of this receiver class, and in the sixth round, Meyers could be a steal.

Meyers is a really good player who is one of my favorite late-round sleepers in this draft class. In a recent piece, I said the following of Meyers’ potential at the NFL level.

More from Riggo's Rag

"Meyers has really quick feet and should be able to use them to help him separate at the next level. He is quicker than he is fast, but he still has the size (6-2) and change of direction skills that teams look for at the wide receiver position. He should find ways to get open at the next level and should be a solid pass-catcher, though he lacks the breaking speed needed to be a burner. Meyers will likely be best in the slot at the next level, but he can play outside as well. He is a smooth and fluid mover, and he should be a solid player in the NFL. He may be a bit rawer than some of the other Day 3 options at the position, but with more time to learn, Meyers could eventually become a good weapon."

With Butler, more of an X guy, and Meyers, a Z or slot-man, the ‘Skins will have added nice depth and potential playmakers to their roster.

Dark Horse: OL Lester Cotton, Alabama

There has to be an Alabama player on this list at some point, right? Cotton is a solid-looking guard for the next level, but he might just be a fine backup at the next level. If the team is still looking for interior depth late in the sixth round, Cotton would be a worth a pick.
