Picks 53-56

53. Philadelphia Eagles: RB Damien Harris, Alabama

The Eagles made a nice trade to acquire Jordan Howard, but they may not be done adding at the running back position. Harris had a nice career at Alabama and had two 1,000-yard seasons for the Crimson Tide. Howard, Harris, and Corey Clement could make a formidable RB rotation for the Eagles and make life easier on Carson Wentz moving forward.

54. Houston Texans: WR Andy Isabella, UMass

More from Riggo's Rag

Will Fuller and Keke Coutee have had trouble staying healthy during their respective careers. They have to find some other contributors at the position. Andy Isabella would be a nice inside/outside threat for the Texans. He has elite speed and is coming off a 102-catch, 1,638-yard season with 13 touchdowns. He could be a starter for the Texans and should find a way to produce when paired with Deshaun Watson.

55. Houston Texans: EDGE Jachai Polite, Florida

With back-to-back picks, the Texans can take the best available player while taking a risk. Polite would have been a first-round pick had it not been for a dreadful pre-draft process. Polite has excellent athletic ability on tape, but his performance at the combine and in interviews was not good. Still, you can’t teach bend, and Polite has that. The Texans will take him in hopes of turning him into a quality sack artist in their rotation.

56. New England Patriots: WR Miles Boykin, Notre Dame

The Patriots need receiver help, and they have shown an interest in Miles Boykin. Boykin’s tape and numbers don’t exactly jump out at you, but he has the athletic upside to be a top receiver. The Patriots tend to value undervalued players, so they could opt to take Boykin around this range and hope that he can turn into a quality starter for the team.
