Picks 89-92

89. Indianapolis Colts: CB Joejuan Williams, Vanderbilt

The Colts re-signed Pierre Desir, but they could still use some extra help at corner. Joejuan Williams had first-round potential at one point, but he didn’t perform as well as many had hoped at the combine. Perhaps Chris Ballard will see a hidden gem and draft Williams to challenge Quincy Wilson for a role in the secondary.

90. Dallas Cowboys: S Will Harris, Boston College

Earl Thomas was rumored to be a target of the Cowboys, but they didn’t land him. They will look for a potential starter at the position in the draft. Harris is a well-rounded prospect who was a productive tackler in each of his four years at Boston College. He also has good coverage skills. He could find a role as a starter in the Dallas secondary, so grabbing him at this point makes sense.

91. Los Angeles Chargers: OT Yodny Cajuste, West Virginia

The Chargers need depth at the tackle position. Russell Okung is solid, but injury prone. Meanwhile, Sam Tevi was only okay at right tackle. Behind those two, the team has nothing. Cajuste is a raw prospect who has the upside needed to develop into a starting tackle. At the worst, he would be an upgrade at swing tackle for the Chargers.

92. Kansas City Chiefs: RB Myles Gaskin, Washington

The Chiefs need to add depth to their running back room. Damien Williams was great last year, but was that just a flash in the pan? Meanwhile, Carlos Hyde is on his fourth team in the past two years, so he can’t be counted on. Myles Gaskin would fit the bill here.

5 values the Redskins can't pass up at No. 15. light. Must Read

Gaskin has a wealth of experience at Washington and was a solid ball-carrier for the team. Even more impressive, he had a fumble rate of 336.7 which is the best of the top prospects in this draft. The Chiefs have liked backs with low fumble rates in the past, and they have drafted Kareem Hunt and signed Darrel Williams, two of the best fumble-rate prospects of the past few seasons, in each of the past offseason. So, tying Gaskin to Kansas City makes sense.
