Picks 69-72

69. Jacksonville Jaguars: LB D’Andre Walker, Georgia

The Jaguars could use a linebacker for their unit, and Walker has the versatility needed to stand up on the edge. He had 7.5 sacks last season for Georgia and has a nice 6-2 frame. The Jaguars will find a way to utilize him.

70. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: RB David Montgomery, Iowa State

Ronald Jones couldn’t beat out Peyton Barber for playing time last year. That’s a bad sign for the former second-round pick. The Bucs could add some competition for him, and David Montgomery would be a sensible addition. Montgomery doesn’t have great top-end speed, but he has excellent balance and can shrug off contact. He has had at least 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns in back-to-back seasons, so the Bucs could draft him in hopes of having him jump-start their woeful run game.

71. Denver Broncos: WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Stanford

Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton are both big pieces of the future for the Broncos’ receiving corps. However, with Emmanuel Sanders coming off an Achilles, the team could stand to add a third weapon to their receiving corps to help Joe Flacco and, after this mock, Drew Lock.

Arcega-Whiteside is a massive receiver who will be a jump-ball threat at the next level. He’s physical and has solid route running ability, but he lacks athleticism. For that reason, he could struggle to separate at the next level. Still, he complements Sutton and Hamilton nicely, so Arcega-Whiteside should be in play, especially considering that he could be a second-round pick.

72. Cincinnati Bengals: LB Vosean Joseph, Florida

The Bengals need a new linebacker after cutting the perennially hurt/suspended Vontaze Burfict. Vosean Joseph has flown under the radar so far in this draft process, but he has a nice skill set. He had 93 tackles and four sacks for Florida, so the Bengals could opt to take him here.
