The Buccaneers lost Kwon Alexander in free agency. They need to add some help at linebacker, and they could target a guy like Devin White to replace him.

White has steadily risen in the lead up to the 2019 NFL Draft, and it seems well within the realm of possibility that he goes in the top-five. White has been an elite tackler in the past two seasons and has totaled 133 and 123 tackles respectively.

While White doesn’t have great coverage instincts, he is a good downhill playmaker and has ample athleticism, as was displayed at the combine. He moves very well in space and has 4.33 speed. He should be a sideline to sideline playmaker in the NFL, and if he gets better in coverage, he could be an elite playmaker.

White and Lavonte David would really strengthen the Tampa Bay front seven. And with the team heading towards a rebuild on defense under new coordinator Todd Bowles, White would be a nice piece to add.
