The Washington Redskins still have some money to play around with in free agency. Here are a few targets that they could, and should, pursue.

After the Landon Collins deal was reported, it was assumed that the Redskins wouldn’t be doing much else in free agency. After all, Collins’ deal had an average annual value of $14 million. On the surface, that appeared to wipe out most of the team’s cap space.

However, thanks to some clever cap work by Eric Schaffer, Collins’ deal only counts against the cap for $4 million this year. That gives the ‘Skins a bit more wiggle room. And as a result, they can continue to pursue some of the top players that are on the market.

The Redskins could opt to make one more big-money signing. They also could target some better value deals to help fill out the roster. Since there aren’t a lot of big-money players left that make sense for Washington, most of the top players for them to consider come in the value deal category. That seems to be the right course of action and the direction that they had planned anyway.

With that said, here’s a look at the three players that the ‘Skins should continue to pursue as free agency rolls along.
