The Steelers would probably love to land Devin Bush with this pick, as he would be a perfect replacement for Ryan Shazier. Unfortunately, Bush is off the board at this point, so they will have to settle on another position.

Pittsburgh has a few different areas they could upgrade with this pick. They need help at the edge rush position, at receiver (if they trade Antonio Brown as is expected), and at the cornerback position. At this point, no prospect would make more sense for the Steelers than Greedy Williams.

Williams is in the running to be the first corner selected in this class, and he helped his case at the combine. He ran a 4.37 in the 40-yard dash and showcased some speed in the cornerback drills. However, Williams does come with some concerns as well.

WalterFootball.com’s Charlie Campbell has reported that one general manager views Williams as “one of the most overrated players in the 2019 NFL Draft.” It’s possible that Williams could drop to the second round if that is a pervasive view. His instincts are a particular point of interest, and at his Pro Day, he will have play more naturally for a team to fall in love with him.

The Steelers could use a corner like Williams. He has good size, length, and speed and just needs to hone his craft for the next level. Williams could challenge Artie Burns for the starting job across from Joe Haden next year. Expect Williams to come off the board around this juncture, as the Seahawks should have interest in him as well.
