The Browns recently cut Jamie Collins, so they need some help at linebacker. Joe Schobert is still a solid player, but the team will need to bring in more talent next to him, as they had a lot of trouble tackling at times last year.

Devin Bush is a great pickup at this point. Bush was undervalued for most of the year because of his smaller stature (5-11). However, he is a dynamic linebacker with playmaking instincts. He should be a solid starter at the next level and could be the next Denzel Perryman.

In the past two seasons, Bush has totaled 161 tackles, 10 sacks, 18.5 tackles for loss, and 11 pass defenses. He demonstrates solid tackling ability and good range on tape and has all the tools needed to be a three-down linebacker.

At the combine, Bush really helped his stock with a 4.43 in the 40-yard dash and a 6.93 in the 3-cone drill. He showed off his great athletic ability and also demonstrated a sturdy frame at 234 pounds. There shouldn’t be any concerns about how he will hold up at the NFL level.

Unless the Browns opt for an offensive tackle to challenge Greg Robinson for the starting role, Bush is probably the best player on the board. He would do a lot right away to help the Browns’ defense and seems like a probable top-20 pick at this point in time.
