The Redskins are still right in the playoff mix in Week 16. Can they win a Saturday road game to set up an exciting home finale?

Coming off a gritty, 16-13 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Washington Redskins travel to Nissan Stadium to face the Tennessee Titans in a Saturday afternoon matchup between two playoff hopefuls. The Titans are a much better team than their 8-6 record indicates, as they have some quality wins on their resume. They are constructed similarly to the Redskins, armed with a pretty good defense and a strong running game.

While Washington may not be as good talent-wise as some of the other teams that are currently playing meaningful games in December, the fact that they are playing these kinds of games at all given the injuries they’ve had says a lot about this team. They showed tremendous resolve last week grinding out another ugly win after a lot of off the field stuff leading up to the game.

Tennessee is a much better team than Jacksonville was, so this will be a tougher game. If the Redskins hope to move to 8-7 on the season and play a meaningful Week 17 game, here are five keys to victory.
