Redskins vs. Giants, part two: Five bold predictions for crucial game

No. 5 – Tress Way downs five punts inside the 20-yard line
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the Redskins best player in 2018: Punter Tress Way. Yes, punters are people, too.
Way has been having a Pro Bowl-caliber season from behind the long snapper. He leads the NFL with 33 punts inside the 20-yard line, despite having kicked less punts than four of the top six punters in that statistic.
Way’s had at least one punt downed inside the 20-yard line in every game this year, and while five may seem like a hefty number, it’s a mark he’s reached before, in Week 7 versus the Dallas Cowboys.
To put it simply, Way is having a monster season (for a punter). His net average is seventh best in the league, whereas last season, he was far closer to the thirty-second slot among punters. The Redskins have needed to flip the field a bit more than usual this season, and Way has been one of the best at doing that. This week, he’ll provide a humble reminder.
