For the Redskins, getting bold is getting tough.

Consider last week’s outing against the Philadelphia Eagles. Had you said that Mark Sanchez would end up playing more than half the game, your prediction would have been placed past the realm of bold, but instead in the realm of impossibility. Had you said that the Washington Redskins would lose both starting guards (after losing both original starting guards weeks ago), your prediction would have likely been regarded as a satirical representation of the injuries.

But it’s not satirical. That’s what happened.

The Redskins lost their new pair of starting guards, after already losing the old pair. And they were also forced to play Mark Sanchez for almost three full quarters. He’ll be the starter this weekend, and suddenly, the bold is not so bold at all.

Thus, a new challenge arises for us this week; to concoct bold predictions that can match the rising standard. This week, like every week for the Redskins, will reach new heights with its absurdity. Appropriately, our bold predictions do the same.
